Today I returned to Woodland Cemetery to celebrate my photography anniversary. This is where I began my photography journey and I have continued this tradition each year since.
It was a sunny afternoon when I set out with my camera searching for the deer. It didn’t take long before I spotted a group of them together in the snow. Their dark thick coats in deep contrast with the fresh white snow covering the cemetery grounds.
I spent the next hour or so with these beautiful creatures and took as many photos as I could. Eventually I bid them farewell and told them that I would see them again soon.
Thankfully the cemetery is located not far from where I currently reside in London, Ontario, so I am able to visit the deer often. I look forward to returning to the cemetery next year to celebrate my anniversary once again.
