Recently while on a hike through Pinafore Park in St Thomas, Ontario, I stumbled upon a small wetland area directly adjacent to Lake Margaret. As I got closer, I saw that there were several Canadian Geese, most of whom were split into pairs. When I took a path around one of the small ponds, my attention was immediately drawn to a pair of geese on a little island.
I adjusted a few settings on my camera and prepared to start shooting. Luckily as I started to snap some pictures, the geese appeared to be having a bit of a quarrel. This allowed me to capture the Canadian Geese in action. In one of the pictures you can clearly see one of their mouths completely open and their tongue sticking out.
Below are the images taken during this interaction.
